Care Care Care and Magic Ambush were slow to begin.
Harry Steiger and Just A Wish collided soon after the start. Cosmic Spur and Care Care Care collided soon after the start. Harry Steiger and Cosmic Spur collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Care Care Care and Magic Ambush collided approaching the first turn. Cosmic Spur checked off Aeroplane Bob on the first turn checking Care Care Care and Magic Ambush causing both to race wide as a result. Harry Steiger galloped on Just A Wish on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Harry Steiger and Areoplane Bob collided approaching the second turn. Just A Wish checked off Gee Joon on the second turn checking Harry Steiger. Cosmic Spur and Magic Ambush collided on the third turn checking Cosmic Spur. Care Care Care and Magic Ambush collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Cosmic Spur checked off Magic Ambush approaching the winning post.
