Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. C Arthur, the trainer of Magic Buddie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Magic Buddie last raced on 4th September, 2015 and is returning to racing after sustaining a shoulder injury at its last race start.
Jet Mikado was quick to begin. Opal Flyer went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Cool Springs and Magic Buddie collided soon after the start checking Cool Springs and Opal Flyer. Full Of Boloney and Magic Buddie collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Buddie. Full Of Boloney, Atta Flash and Cool Springs collided on the first turn checking Atta Flash and Cool Springs. Atta Flash contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Cool Springs and Magic Buddie. Cool Springs and Atta Flash collided approaching the home turn checking Cool Springs which contacted the running rail as a result. Jet Mikado checked off Powerful Molly in the home straight.
Atta Flash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained small grazes to its right wrist. No stand down period was imposed.
