A pre race sample was taken from Cool Boots.
Houso Delight was slow to begin. Magic Success and Mott Haven collided soon after the start, checking Mott Haven. Cool Boots, Some Tricks, Magic Success and Straw Hat Luffy collided approaching the first turn, checking Magic Success, Veetee Gun, Mott Haven and severely checking Some Tricks. Cool Boots and Veetee Gun collided on the home turn. Some Tricks and Mott Haven collided on the home turn. Cool Boots checked off Veetee Gun on the home turn.
Some Tricks was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
