Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Suspicious Sam.
Suspicious Pete and Suspicious Sam were slow to begin. Elite Circle, Add 'Em Up and Gallo Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Gallo Allen and severely checking Elite Circle. Suspicious Pete and Gallo Allen collided on the first turn, checking Gallo Allen. Add 'Em Up and Tekki Twist collided on the home turn. Tekki Twist and Suspicious Sam collided in the home straight. Suspicious Pete, Add 'Em Up and Suspicious Sam collided approaching the winning post.
Elite Circle was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms A.Dailly, the trainer of Zambimaru Bale regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Zambimaru Bale last raced on 20th May, 2015. Ms Dailly stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left hind fifth toe removal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Zambimaru Bale trialled over the 450m from box 1, weight 33.0kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of five starters. The time of the trial was 25.65, the greyhound won by a margin of 6 lengths. Zambimaru Bale was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (Whelping) – Shine trialled over the 450m from box 8, weight 30.2kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of five starters. The time of the trial was 25.65, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths. Shine was cleared.
Mr R.Moore, trainer of Shine declared a new weight of 30.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shine last raced at 28.2kg.
