Steward's Report
Mepunga Paddy and Sea Mist were quick to begin. Lacey's Lad, Monaleen Ned and Destini Baritone collided soon after the start. Stocktake, Lacey's Lad, Monaleen Ned and Destini Baritone collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Stocktake, and severely checking Destini Baritone and Monaleen Ned, Monaleen Ned stumbled as a result. Stocktake and Destini Baritone collided approaching the home turn, checking Destini Baritone. Stocktake and Lacey's Lad collided in the home straight, checking Lacey's Lad.
Monaleen Ned was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pectoral, right triangle and left sesamoid, a 21 day stand down period was imposed
Destini Baritone was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
