Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Steel, the handler of Ma Ma Keogh regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ma Ma Keogh last raced on 8th October 2015. Mr. Steel stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Dash Of Scotch was quick to begin. Urie was slow to begin. Urie, Dyna Parlance and You Can collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Parlance. Zulu Storm, Bookie, You Can and Ma Ma Keogh collided approaching the first turn, and again on the first turn, checking Bookie, Urie, Ma Ma Keogh, You Can and Dyna Parlance. Bookie checked off You Can on the home turn. 

Dyna Parlance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and right hip, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cee Party was a late scratching at 5.55p.m. on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Le Grand Bleu was a late scratching at 6:21pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Supplementary report 12/2/16 - Acting in accordance with GAR 75 (2) (Matter affecting performance to be reported) Angela Langton, trainer of Sonic Dash, reported that the greyhound was found to have sustained a torn left back muscle in this Event.

Trav Cee was a late scratching at 6:20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. N. Wynd was fined the sum of $100.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Campbell, the handler of Maris Gold regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Maris Gold last raced on 8th November 2015. Mr. Campbell stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Cette Me Up was a late scratching at 6.01p.m. due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Remo Wind trialled over the 390m from box one, weight 26.2kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.45, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.5 lengths. Remo Wind was Cleared.
