Stewards spoke to Mrs. E Johannsen, the representative of Miss Johannsen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Johannsen last raced on 26th September, 2015 and is returning to racing after fracturing a right hind metacarpal that required surgery.
Mrs. E Johannsen, representative of Miss Johannsen declared a new weight of 28.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Johannsen last raced at 29.5kgs.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J Connor, the trainer of Bubba's Silvia regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bubba's Silvia last raced on 11th August, 2015 and is returning to racing after having a season.
Woofenden and Miss Johannsen were slow to begin. Bubba's Silvia, Greysynd Emma and Willie Gee collided approaching the first turn checking Greysynd Emma and Willie Gee.
