Mitch's Delight and Blue And Cool collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Mitch's Delight. Corvus and Oracle Of Omaha collided approaching the home turn checking Corvus. Bugatti Larger checked off Mitch's Delight on the home turn. Bugatti Larger and Xan Mai collided approaching the winning post.

Militant Chief crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Pyrenees Dynasty and Hebe Gee Bees. Fiamatta, Rhon, Elite Shiraz and Militant Chief collided on the first turn checking Fiamatta, Elite Shiraz and Rohn. Roarsome and Pyrenees Dynasty collided on the first turn severely checking Pyrenees Dynasty which fell as a result. Roarsome and Hebe Gee Bees collided in the back straight checking Hebe Gee Bees. Roarsome and Elite Shiraz collided entering the home straight. 

Pyrenees Dynasty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in both shoulders. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Demonishem, Crimson Peak, Imari Bale and Our Kippy were slow to begin. Hurry Up Chief and Belinda's Gift collided soon after the start. Hurry Up Chief, Norm's Wish and Belinda's Gift collided on the first turn checking Belinda's Gift. Crimson Peak, Hurry Up Chief and Baron Lad collided on the first turn checking Crimson Peak. Crimson Peak, Norm's Wish and Imari Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Norm's Wish and severely checking Belinda's Gift which stumbled as a result. Crimson Peak crossed to the outside on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight. Hurry Up Chief and Our Kippy collided on the home turn, in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Belinda's Gift raced wide in the home straight.

Belinda's Gift was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left shoulder and soreness in the left groin. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Jaycee Plumb and Highfield La La collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Pearce and Dolce Gusto collided soon after the start checking Pearce. Dolce Gusto, Greysynd Hawk, Just In Hodges and Paddy Macs collided on the first turn checking Greysynd Hawk. Pearce checked off Highfield La La in the back straight. Dolce Gusto crossed to the outside on the second turn checking Highfield La La and Paddy Macs. Greysynd Hawk checked off Just In Hodges entering the home straight.

West On Xandi, Suzy La Rue  and My Name's Debbie were slow to begin. Ressler was very slow to begin, (3 L). Unther Bale, Hard Merchandise, Hula, West On Xandi, Suzy La Rue and My Name's Debbie collided on the first turn checking Hard Merchandise, Hula and Suzy La Rue. West On Xandi and My Name's Debbie collided entering the back straight checking My Name's Debbie. Ressler checked off Unther Bale in the back straight. Baroness Jill and Miss Briony were slow to begin. Dusty Sky and Blonde Boucheau collided on the first turn severely checking Blonde Boucheau which tailed off as a result. Max Rocket and Shelby's Magic collided entering the back straight checking Shelby's Magic. Shelby's Magic checked off Asa Ellwood on the home turn. Baroness Jill checked off Miss Briony on the home turn.

Blonde Boucheau was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanised.

Our Lilly was a late scratching at 2:27pm  on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A day stand down period was imposed.

Fast Boloney and Blue Blitz collided soon after the start. Hyper Venom and Golden Blaze collided soon after the start. Hyper Venom checked off Golden Blaze on the first turn. Fast Boloney and Golden Blaze collided approaching the home turn. Dom Daisy raced wide on the home turn checking Blue Blitz. Fast Baloney, Hyper Venom and Golden Blaze collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds. Dom Daisy and Blue Blitz collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Fast Baloney and Golden Blaze collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ryan, handler regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Blue Blitz.  Stewards directed that Blue Blitz be boxed first in future events.

Cosmic Spur checked off Carlanna Lois on the first turn. Rance Regstrong and Kripke collided approaching the home turn.  Joni Sunset and Ima Cosmic raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Little Fawkner trialled over the 425 mt from box 8, weight 30.2 kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.84, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 0.75 length. Little Fawkner was Cleared.
