Steward's Report
A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Dyna Jackie. A post race sample was subsequently taken.
Meehan Sox, Shall She Cindy and Allen Kelvin were slow to begin. Destini Cheetah and Bullseye Eagle collided soon after the start, checking Bullseye Eagle. Meehan Sox, Dyna Jackie and Destini Cheetah collided on the first turn, severely checking Dyna Jackie and Destini Cheetah. Bullseye Eagle raced wide on the home turn.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Stewards conducted an inquiry into the circumstances pertaining to the removal of the incorrect greyhound from its kennel following race 4. Stewards charged trainer Mr. G. Selkrig under rule GAR86(o) with negligence. Mr. Selkrig pleaded not guilty. Mr. Selkrig was found guilty and fined the sum of $250.
Stewards also spoke to licensed person Ms. N. Petts and issued her with a severe reprimand and advised her to show more care when carrying out her duties.
