Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr D.Beasley, the trainer of Benny's Legend regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Benny's Legend last raced on 14 October 2016. Mr Beasley stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured right hock.
A pre race sample was taken from Peter Yap.
Galo's Best was quick to begin. Ollie Agira, Alex Fields and Benny's Legend were slow to begin. Kraken Bolt and Stormy Seas collided approaching the first turn, checking Stormy Seas. Ollie Agira checked off Stormy Seas on the first turn. Galo's Best checked off Peter Yap approaching the home turn. Peter Yap checked off It's Magic in the home straight. Alex Fields and Benny's Legend collided in the home straight.
Galo's Best was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
