Steward's Report
Sidevalve was a late scratching at 8:04am due to an injury to the left hind pad (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tip Toe.
Oddball Quick was slow to begin. Galaxy Sprite and Kava Magic collided soon after the start. Oddball Quick and Tip Toe collided approaching the first turn checking Oddball Quick. Kava Magic and Star Douglas collided approaching the first turn checking Kava Magic and Tip Toe. Paddy's Cripp and Star Douglas collided on the first turn. Kava Magic and Star Douglas collided on the first turn checking Star Douglas which fell; Tip Toe was checked as a result. Galaxy Sprite and Paddy's Cripp collided approaching the winning post checking Galaxy Sprite. Oddball Quick and Tip Toe collided approaching the winning post.
