Crackerjack Man and Nicky Jo were slow to begin.  Fran Allen checked off Swift Operator approaching the first turn.  Sweet Galo's and Nicky Jo collided approaching the first turn, checking Sweet Galos.  Crackerjack Man and Fran Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Swift Operator, Destini Delta and Nicky Jo collided approaching the home turn.  Fran Allen galloped on the heels of Nicky Jo approaching the home turn, checking Fran Allen, and severely chekcing Nicky Jo which stumbled.  Crackerjack Man and Swift Operator collided in the home straight.  

Nicky Jo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Roy Boy - the winner of the event.

Crainy's Wish, Fire Fury, Just A Peanut, Destini Ricardo and Klemo collided soon after the start, checking Klemo, Destini Ricardo, Just A Peanut and Fire Fury.  Monoak and Winston Cruise collided approaching the first turn.  Klemo checked off Fire Fury on the first turn.  Just A Peanut raced wide on the home turn.  Destini Ricardo and Crainy's Wish collided several times in the home straight, checking Crainy's Wish.

Destini Ricardo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr K Mitchell, trainer of Bracken Bridge, declared a new weight of 29.2 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Bracken Bridge last raced at 30.4 kgs.

Scott Cosmic was quick to begin.  Big Tilly and Graphite Jack were slow to begin. Graphite Jack, Bracken Bridge and Exford Peggy collided soon after the start.  Riverdale Paddy and Exford Peggy collided approaching the first turn, checking Exford Peggy.  Riverdale Paddy and Bracken Bridge collided on the first turn.  Big Tilly checked off Exford Peggy on the first turn.  Bracken Bridge and Graphite Jack collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Riverdale Paddy checked off Johnny Dunbar on the home turn and raced wide as a result.  Riverdale Paddy and Exford Peggy collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Andy's Gem was a late scratching at 2:20 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to an elevated temperature.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Following a track inspection after race six Stewards deemed the track unsafe for racing due to heavy rains.  The meeting was abandoned at 5:08 pm.
