She's Quite was quick to begin. Anton Flash was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Justa Jezza and Master Brett were slow to begin. Longshot Glory and Stellar Flash collided soon after the start. She's Quite checked off Stellar Flash on the first turn. Justa Jezza and Longshot Glory collided on the first turn. Anton Flash and Justa Jezza collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, severely checking Justa Jezza. Longshot Glory and Master Brett collided approaching the home turn. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Miss Flower engaged in this event, on the 17th of March, 2017, pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bloke's Advice. 

Desert Oasis was quick to begin. Jack Cherry was slow to begin. Miss Flower and Bloke's Advice collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Flower. Miracle Cherry clipped the heels of Scott Pizzazz on the first turn. Miss Flower checked off Miracle Cherry on the first turn. Premier Ching, Jack Cherry and Scott Pizzazz collided on the first turn, checking Scott Pizzazz and severely checking Jack Cherry, Miss Flower raced wide as a result. 

Scott Dynamism was slow to begin. Roger Cherry checked off Kansas Lane soon after the start. Ripsaw Ronny and Platinum Impact collided approaching the first turn. Ripsaw Ronny and Kansas Lane collided on the first turn, checking Ripsaw Ronny. Silky Strings crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Kansas Lane, Ripsaw Ronny, Come To Play and Platinum Impact. Ripsaw Ronny and Kansas Lane collided approaching the home turn. Come To Play clipped the heels of Ripsaw Ronny entering the home straight. 

Kansas Lane, which had a fall in the catching pen, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind leg, a three day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Droppin' Plates. 

Tat Ashleigh, Whalephant and Midnight Marzy were slow to begin. Flying Mia and Droppin' Plates collided on the first turn. Tat Ashleigh, Whalephant and San Tan Bonnie collided on the first turn, checking Tat Ashleigh and severely checking Whalephant. Captain Risky checked off Droppin' Plates entering the home straight.

San Tan Bonnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle and spike wounds to the right hind foot, a twenty-eight day stand down period was imposed. 

Unbackable, Lido's Boy and All Inn Boston were slow to begin. Gunmetal Rebel clipped the heels of It Gets Better approaching the first turn. Enjoy Cruising, Gunmetal Rebel and It Gets Better collided on the first turn, checking It Gets Better and Enjoy Cruising. Billiluna checked off Militant Chief entering the home straight. Billiluna clipped the heels of All Inn Boston in the home straight. It Gets Better tailed off in the home straight. Militant Chief and All Inn Boston collided several times approaching the winning post. 

It Gets Better was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left sesamoid and left thigh, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed. 

Swiftly Swift was a late scratching at 6:15PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Quizmaster. 

Convoy was slow to begin. Tat Scooby and Glamorous Cheech collided soon after the start. Burrawonga Betoo checked off Quizmaster on the first turn. Quizmaster and Glamorous Cheech collided on the first turn. Burrawonga Betoo and Tat Scooby collided approaching the home turn, checking Burrawonga Betoo and Convoy. Glamorous Cheech crossed to the outside on the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Why Not Sue. 

You Dance was quick to begin. All Inn Together and Cruisy's Luck collided soon after the start. Cheese Ya Later and All Inn Together collided approaching the first turn, checking All Inn Together. Cruisy's Luck brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Cheese Ya Later checked off Farmer Brown approaching the winning post, causing Lektra Timon and Cheese Ya Later to collide. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Waycott, the trainer of Hard Wicket regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hard Wicket last raced on 30th of October, 2016. Mr. Waycott stated that the greyhound is returning to racing following a toe injury to the left fore foot.

Mr. Swan and Hard Wicket were slow to begin. Mister Campo and Midnight Caviar collided soon after the start. Sunday Sipper and Mister Campo collided soon after the start. Swift Ruby checked off Dance Craze on the first turn. Sunday Sipper and Mister Campo collided on the first turn. Mister Campo and Hard Wicket raced wide on the home turn. 

Scoota Flash was quick to begin. All Inn Houston was slow to begin. Tat Toby and In A Spin collided soon after the start, checking In A Spin and Scott Muscle. All Inn Houston and In A Spin collided approaching the first turn, severely checking All Inn Houston which stumbled as a result. Tanoan Creek and Bound After Gold collided on the first turn. In A Spin and Bound After Gold collided approaching the home turn, checking In A Spin, which contacted the running rail. Bound After Gold raced wide on the home turn.

Parsnip, Wise Harry and Sisco General were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Wise Harry. Split Chic and Sooty Epsom collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Sooty Epsom. Cruisy's Empress checked off River Crossing on the first turn. 

Wise Harry was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Cracking Joe and Scoop Jackson were slow to begin. Petite Senorita and Parisian Magic collided soon after the start. Petite Senorita checked off Chelsea Drogba on the first turn. Miss Barbados and Blingzilla collided on the first turn, checking Blingzilla, Chelsea Drogba and Cracking Joe. Scoop Jackson clipped the heels of Cool Boots entering the home straight.

El Ay Lucy was slow to begin. Bambalam Tilly and Stoppa Bus collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Stoppa Bus.
