Steward's Report
Torh Minter, Moorbel Drive, May’s Melody, Sweet Galo’s and Senor Sensation were slow to begin. Moorbel Drive checked off Torh Minter at the 300m mark. May’s Melody crossed to the outside at the 300m mark. May’s Melody and Senor Sensation collided several times from the 250m mark to the 50m mark. Bush Dash faltered at the 100m mark and lost considerable ground, checking Sweet Galo’s.
Bush Dash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left sesamoid and both chest muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
