This is a hot weather affected meeting.  Kennel Temperature at close of kennelling 19.9.  Humidity 65.2%.   Outside temperature at close of kennelling 28.5.  As the temperature dropped to below 32 degrees no further outside temperatures were taken.

Step One was quick to begin.  Destini Montana and Chantilly Beauty were slow to begin.  Kouta Mayhem and Step One collided on the first turn checking Kouta Mayhem and Detroit Wally and causing Zipping Penny to fall.  Rasleigh Banser checked off Seaton Star on the first turn.  Destini Montana checked off Kouta Mayhem on the first turn.  Kouta Mayhem galloped on Step One  approaching the home turn checking Kouta Mayhem. Destini Montana and Kouta Mayhem collided on the home turn.  Detroit Wally and Rasleigh Banser raced wide on the home turn.  Chantilly Beauty and Seaton Star collided approaching the winning post checking Seaton Star.

Zipping Penny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Taabinga Swift, Lizzie Fields and Alloyd Charm were quick to begin.  Maroon Blitz was slow to begin.  Zipping Tina checked off Taabinga Swift approaching the first turn and stumbled; Zipping Tina jumped the inside rail as a result.  Why Not Dawn, Runnin' On Fire and Alloyd Charm collided approaching the first turn checking Why Not Dawn and Runnin' On Fire.  Why Not Dawn and Runnin' On Fire collided on the first turn checking Runnin' On Fire.  Steel checked off Taabinga Swift on the first turn.  Why Not Dawn raced wide on the home turn.  Runnin ' On Fire and Alloyd Charm collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Alloyd Charm checked off Steel approaching the winning post.

Zipping Tina was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions to both front legs, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. McMillan, the trainer of the greyhound Zipping Tina.  Stewards deemed the performance of Zipping Tina unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Zipping Tina must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tiger Rance was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury and a left triangle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Call Me Tickets was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have neck soreness and a spike wound to the left front foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Max was quick to begin.  Zipping Bronco and Maybe Hannibal were slow to begin.  My Miss Molly checked off Premier Jess soon after the start.  Premier Jess galloped on Midnight Max approaching the first turn.  Premier Jess, Labuan Starfish and Allen Unther collided approaching the first turn severely checking Labuan Starfish and checking Premier Jess.  Allen Unther and My Miss Molly collided on the first turn checking Allen Unther.
