A pre-race sample was taken from Mirror Reality.
Dark Tantra was slow to begin. Kraken Tilda and Loosey Jabna collided soon after the start, checking Kraken Tilda. Kingsley Boy and Loosey Jabna collided several times approaching the first turn. Kingsley Boy, Loosey Jabna and Bletchley collided on the first turn, checking Loosey Jabna, Bletchley and Petentim. Our Spirit and Kraken Tilda collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Tilda. Kraken Tilda galloped on the heels of Our Spirit in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr D. Bunn, the trainer of Dynamite Dixie regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Dynamite Dixie last raced on 30th May, 2016. Mr Bunn declared a new weight of 28.6kg, Dynamite Dixie last raced at 26.4 kg. Mr. Bunn stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Dynamite Dixie trialled over the 425m from box 1, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 24.51, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.25 lengths. Dynamite Dixie was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms S. Elmes, the trainer of Avatar Kelso regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Avatar Kelso last raced on 18th August, 2016. Ms. Elmes declared a new weight of 33.1kg, Avatar Kelso last raced at 30.5 kg. Ms. Elmes stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after split webbing to the left back toe and a right wrist injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Avatar Kelso trialled over the 425m from box 8, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 24.51, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.5 length. Avatar Kelso was Cleared.
