Bobbyrella was quick to begin.  Hurricane Sam, Belron Moy and Apila Cash were slow to begin.  Apila Cabbage crossed to the outside soon after the start and checked off Bobbyrella checking Jetyra Eruption and Hurricane Elyse. Hurricane Elyse was checked off Hurricane Sam approaching the first turn.  Belron Moy and Apila Cash collided on the first turn. Belron Moy raced wide on the first turn.

Tub's Tiger and Megellas Fairy were quick to begin.  My Mate Horse and Aston Powers collided soon after the start.  Shreddin' was checked off Gemanna Shelby approaching the first turn.  Tub's Tiger and Nosey collided approaching the first turn.  Tub's Tiger and Megellas Fairy collided on the first turn.  My Mate Horse and Aston Powers collided on the first turn checking My Mate Horse, Aston Powers and Shreddin'.  Tub's Tiger was checked off Megellas Fairy approaching the second turn checking Megellas Fairy and Gemanna Shelby, Tub's Tiger, Nosey and Perceptive fell as a result.  Megellas Fairy and Gemanna Shelby collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Shreddin' and Gemanna Shelby collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Tub's Tiger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Nosey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Perceptive was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left eye socket and concussion, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

After viewing the video replay regarding the racing manners of Shreddin' approaching the second turn, Stewards took into consideration the interference when three greyhounds fell and took no further action.

Early Thunder and Cracking Joe were slow to begin.  Triple Cee, Night Prancer, Vienna Pink, Early Thunder and Stately Kay collided soon after the start checking Night Prancer and Early Thunder.  Cosmic Missile, Stately Kay and Gold Air collided on the first turn severley checking Stately Kay.  Early Thunder and Stately Kay collided in the back straight.

Daintree King was slow to begin.  Beyond Manapa and Cowrie collided soon after the start.  Family Rules, Galloping Ashley and All About Arby collided on the first turn.  Beyond Manapa was checked off Galloping Ashley in the back straight.  Family Rules faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.

Family Rules was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lakeview Harley was a late scratching at 8:42am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Jake and Beyond Galaxia were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Cavalcade and Precipitation collided soon after the start.  Yuken Duet, Grand Cayman and Precipitation collided on the first turn checking Yuken Duet.  Grand Cayman and Precipitation collided in the back straight.

Pantera Nera was quick to begin.  Dr. Yanma, About To Cry and Elswyk Max were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Dr. Yanma and About To Cry collided on the second turn.  Tiger Whelan and Spirited Quality collided approaching the home turn.  Elswyk Max was checked off Dr. Yanma approaching the home turn and collided with About To Cry.  Dr. Yanma was checked off Tiger Whelan on the home turn.
