Steward's Report
Podium Express was a late scratching at 10:46am due to non arrival (GAR 31). Trainer, Mr. J. McCallum was fined the sum of $100.
Stewards spoke to Mr, M. Marshall, the trainer of Iconic Chief regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Iconic Chief last raced on 10th November 2016 and is returning to race after a right hock injury.
Bigtime Raider was slow to begin. Daintree Dynamo, Iconic Chief and Mon Mekki Kahn collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds; Iconic Chief stumbled as a result. Temujin checked off Mon Mekki Kahn at the 300 metre mark. Callaway checked off Mon Mekki Kahn approaching the 250 metre mark and collided with Temujin as a result. Callaway and Temujin collided at the 200 metre mark. Bigtime Raider and Temujin collided at the 100 metre mark.
