Dangerzone was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its lumbo-sacral and right calf muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Laurie Galore and It Is Done collided at the 250 metre mark.  Beluga crossed to the rail at the 250 metre mark checking Big Boy Buzz.  Lord Leon and Bolare collided at the 250 metre mark.

Bigtime Raider was slow to begin.  Daintree Dynamo, Iconic Chief and Mon Mekki Kahn collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds; Iconic Chief stumbled as a result.  Temujin checked off Mon Mekki Kahn at the 300 metre mark.  Callaway checked off Mon Mekki Kahn approaching the 250 metre mark and collided with Temujin as a result.  Callaway and Temujin collided at the 200 metre mark.  Bigtime Raider and Temujin collided at the 100 metre mark.

Mr. B. Moles, trainer of Aston Salute declared a new weight of 29.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Aston Salute last raced at 31.5kgs.

Cheetah Stealth and Black Albert collided at the 100 metre mark.

Master Phelps and Amlin Prince were slow to begin.  Vista Bandit and Amlin Prince collided soon after the start.  Master Phelps checked off Keep Talking soon after the start.  Master Phelps raced wide approaching the 300 metre mark and collided with Don The Sash and Vista Bandit; Vista Bandit and Amlin Prince were checked as a result.  Johnny's Return and Don The Sash collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Amlin Prince became lodged in the greyhound's mouth during the running of the event.
