Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. A.Rocke, the trainer of Aqueaky Gate regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Squeaky Gate last raced on 8th of September, 2016 and is returning to racing after a change of kennel and a left shoulder injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Black Albert.
Squeaky Gate and Petite Senorita were quick to begin. Black Albert and Moriera Magic collided approaching the first turn. Miss Utamurra and Dragon's Den collided on the first turn checking Dragon's Den and Moriera Magic and severely checking Miss Utamurra and Black Albert. Black Albert and Moriera Magic collided on the home turn. Squeaky Gate, Petite Senorita and My Names Sheree raced wide in the home straight.
Moriera Magicwas vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Dragon's Den was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right toe injury and a right groin injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
