Steward's Report
Holly Jane was a late scratching at 11:55am due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. Caulfield was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Our Nico.
Jem's Princess, Slipaway Jenifer and Our Nico were slow to begin. Super Pablo, Our Nico and Kilty's Tiger collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Slipaway Jenifer checked off Super Pablo approaching the home turn. Nawala Barko and Our Nico collided approaching the home turn. Kilty's Tiger, Nawala Barko and Jem's Princess collided on the home turn checking Nawala Barko and Jem's Princess. Kilty's Tiger and Nawala Barko collided in the home straight severely checking Nawala Barko.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Our Nico became dislodged during the running of the event.
Nawala Barko was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
