Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Fiery Fox, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Velocity Alice and All Bolts were slow to begin. Hard Merchandise and Fiery Fox collided on the first turn checking Hard Merchandise. Velocity Alice checked off Be Hopeful entering the back straight. Zac's A Sixpence and Be Hopeful collided on the second turn. Got The Picture checked off Zac's A Sixpence on the second turn. Fiery Fox and Got The Picture collided approaching the home turn. Zac's A Sixpence and Be Hopeful collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Fiery Fox became dislodged during the running of the event.
All Bolts was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right shoulder and left hock. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
