Nordul's Hope was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Barcia's Fate.

Trav Cee and Barcia's Fate were slow to begin.  Gunmetal Outlaw and Ginto Zac collided approaching the first turn.  Dunbro Charlie and Barcia's Fate collided on the first turn checking Dunbro Charlie.  Trav Cee checked off Ginto Zac approaching the home turn.  Dolce Ventu and Trav Cee collided approaching the home turn checking Trav Cee.

Bazz Kebab and Casino Star were slow to begin.  Dutch Schultz and Atlas Tinkabell collided soon after the start.  Olympic Lass, Destini Firebird and Bigshow Jethro collided on the first turn checking Olympic Lass and severely checking Destini Firebird.  Bigshow Jethro checked off Dutch Schultz in the home straight.

Casino Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Velocity Alice and All Bolts were slow to begin.  Hard Merchandise and Fiery Fox collided on the first turn checking Hard Merchandise.  Velocity Alice checked off Be Hopeful entering the back straight.  Zac's A Sixpence and Be Hopeful collided on the second turn.  Got The Picture checked off Zac's A Sixpence on the second turn.  Fiery Fox and Got The Picture collided approaching the home turn.  Zac's A Sixpence and Be Hopeful collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Fiery Fox became dislodged during the running of the event.

All Bolts was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right shoulder and left hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Holly Jane was a late scratching at 11:55am due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. Caulfield was fined the sum of $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Our Nico.

Jem's Princess, Slipaway Jenifer and Our Nico were slow to begin.  Super Pablo, Our Nico and Kilty's Tiger collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Slipaway Jenifer checked off Super Pablo approaching the home turn.  Nawala Barko and Our Nico collided approaching the home turn.  Kilty's Tiger, Nawala Barko and Jem's Princess collided on the home turn checking Nawala Barko and Jem's Princess.  Kilty's Tiger and Nawala Barko collided in the home straight severely checking Nawala Barko.

Mr. M. Gibbons, trainer of Black Macoy declared a new weight of 36.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Black Macoy last raced at 35.6kgs.

Mr. G. Mannion, trainer of Sunday Sess declared a new weight of 30.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sunday Sess last raced at 28.2kgs.
