Steward's Report
Dyna Maddie was a late scratching at 7:22pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due right hind lameness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Subsequent to the event, Stewards spoke to the Attendant of Dyna Maddie, Mr J. Laverso, to establish whether Mr Laverso had noted any injury or problems with the greyhound prior to reaching the boxes. Mr Laverson indicated that he had noted no abnormalities with the greyhound until the greyhound was parading to the boxes.
As a consequence of Dyna Maddie being revetted behind the boxes, the event started 3 minutes late.
Coalville Tiger and Zall Good were slow to begin. Vefah Victory contacted the running rail on the first turn. Sisco Gillie and Maximum Mak collided approaching the second turn. Dream Ticket and Coalville Tiger collided approaching the second turn. Zall Good and Maximum Mak collided in the back straight checking Maximum Mak. Dundee Cobra and Dream Ticket collided on the third turn. Sisco Gillie and Dream Ticket collided entering the home straight.
Vefah Victory was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple grazes, no stand down period was imposed.
