Mr J Ennis was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers were produced for the greyhound Spring Missile pursuant to GAR33
Straw Hat Luffy was a late scratching at 6:39PM due to non arrival (GAR 31). a 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Heather Collins was fined the sum of $100.
Dyna Shinko was a late scratching at 6:39PM due to non arrival (GAR 31). a 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Heather Collins was fined the sum of $100.
Benzo Bale was slow to begin.
Sping Missile, Crackerjack Andy and Dyna Lemmy collided soon after the start checking Crackerjack Andy and Dyna Lemmy. Hawka Tron and Spring Missile collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Missile.
Spring Missile which performed below marked expectations was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left foreleg. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J Ennis (Spring Missile) regarding the greyhounds performance. Mr Ennis stated in his opinion the greyhound would be better suited to racing over a shorter distance.
