Bushman's Luck, Oscorp Bale and Fimple Allen collided soon after the start, checking Bushman's Luck and Oscorp Bale. Hogwarts Express, Fimple Allen and Slipaway Bolt collided approaching the first turn, checking Fimple Allen and Onya Sami. Bushman's Luck checked off Oscorp Bale approaching the first turn. Southwood Max checked off Schooner Doll approaching the first turn. Schooner Doll checked off Onya Sami approaching the home turn. Southwood Max and Bushman's Luck collided approaching the home turn. Schooner Doll raced wide on the home turn and collided with Bushman's Luck, causing Bushman's Luck to be checked, and severely checking Schooner Doll which tailed off as a result.
Schooner Doll was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a back muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
