A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Zulu Success, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Lilly Shan was slow to begin. Thera Cee and Tristesse collided soon after the start, checking Tristesse. Zulu Success, Spin That Wheel and Lashil collided soon after the start, checking Spin That Wheel. Lashil, Thera Cee and Tristesse collided approaching the first turn, checking Thera Cee. Lashil, Lilly Shan and Tristesse collided on the first turn. Tristesse raced wide on the home turn, checking Lilly Shan.
Spin That Wheel, which trailled the field throughout was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a back muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
