Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Azzopardi, the trainer of Marbo's Magic regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Marbo's Magic last raced on 21st October, 2016. Mr. Azzopardi stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right metacarpal.
Regional Chief was slow to begin. Charlie Rocket and Rowchester Star collided on the first turn, checking Rowchester Star. Charlie Rocket, Mint Boy and Regional Chief collided approaching the home turn, severeyl checking Regional Chief, which fell as a result. Charlie Rocket raced wide on the home turn.
Regional Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
