Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Single Sticka upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Dyna Boomer, Zabdon Ferrari and Single Sticka were slow to begin.
Crackerjack Choc checked off Invictus Rapid soon after the start. Steel The Best and Felton Bale collided approaching the first turn. Steel The Best, Felton Bale and Zabdon Ferrari collided on the first turn checking Felton Bale and Single Sticka. Dyna Boomer checked off Felton Bale on the second turn. Dyna Boomer marred Felton Bale in the home straight resulting in Felton Bale contacting the running rail and being checked.
Dyna Boomer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain and right triangle injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. A Dailly, the trainer of the greyhound Dyna Boomer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dyna Boomer with marring. Mrs Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Boomer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
