Sleek Master was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Bruce Tycoon and Daithy Allen collided soon after the start.  Hit The Highway and Kilty Express collided soon after the start checking Kilty Express.  Striker Light, Gaucho, Daithy Allena and Bruce Tycoon collided approaching the first turn.  Striker Light and Bruce Tycoon collided on the first turn checking Striker Light.  Hit The Highway, Gaucho, Daithy Allen and Kilty Express collided on the first turn checking Gaucho, Daithy Allen, Kilty Express and causing Hit The Highway to fall.

Hit The Highway was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right scapula fracture, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Rippin Hayne, Matt Machine and Mitcharlie Mia collided entering the back straight.  Cashin' In and Celica Bale collided approaching the third turn.  Beteke checked off Cashin' In approaching the home turn and collided with Celica Bale. Sarah Swift and Benteke collided approaching the home turn.

Burn One Down and Teddy Monelli collided soon after the start.  Stocktake and Alera Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Teddy Monelli, Springvale Bryne and Mepunga Rosie collided on the first turn checking Springvale Bryne and Mepunga Rosie.  Stocktake and Burn One Down collided on the first turn checking Stocktake.  Springvale Bryne and Alera Bale collided in the front straight.  Mepunga Rosie, Zipping Zeus and Miss Foxy Lee collided approaching the third turn checking Miss Foxy Lee.

Stocktake was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dyna Boomer, Zabdon Ferrari and Single Sticka were slow to begin.

Crackerjack Choc checked off Invictus Rapid soon after the start.  Steel The Best and Felton Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Steel The Best, Felton Bale and Zabdon Ferrari collided on the first turn checking Felton Bale and Single Sticka.  Dyna Boomer checked off Felton Bale on the second turn.  Dyna Boomer marred Felton Bale in the home straight resulting in Felton Bale contacting the running rail and being checked.

Dyna Boomer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain and right triangle injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. A Dailly, the trainer of the greyhound Dyna Boomer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dyna Boomer with marring. Mrs Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Boomer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Promises Kept and Leo's Gift collided soon after the start.  Leo's Gift checked off Helga Bale approaching the first turn.  Blazin' Bomber and Promises Kept collided on the first turn.  Leo's Gift, Extreme Magic and Pop The Cork collided on the first turn checking Leo's Gift and Zambora Brockie.  Leo's Gift checked off Zambora Brockie approaching the second turn.  Tedesco raced wide in the back straight and checked Promises Kept and Extreme Magic.  Leo's Gift raced wide on the home turn.

Don't Kid Me and Demon Bale collided soon after the start.  Allen Dynamo and Aeroplane Bob collided soon after the start.  Don't Kid Me and Mystery Ride collided approaching the first turn.  Allen Dynamo, Aeroplane Bob and Demon Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Aeroplane Bob.  Don't Kid Me, Mystery Ride, Jesaulenko and Shima Bar collided on the first turn checking Jesaulenko and causing Shima Bar to fall.  Allen Dynamo and Demon Bale collided on the second turn.  Aeroplane Bob, Diego Bale and Mystery Ride collided on the second turn checking Mystery Ride. Demon Bale checked off Diego Bale on the home turn. Diego Bale and Jesaulenko collided on the home turn. Diego Bale failed to pursue the lure with due commitment and collided with Jesaulenko entering the home straight.

Shima Bar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left radius ulna fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr M.Stringer, the trainer of the greyhound Diego Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Diego Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to abrasions to the left calf and right metatarsal, no stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Diego Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Stringer pleaded guilty to the charge, Deigo Bale was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trip To Eden, Pelli and Triple Agent were slow to begin.

It's A Bird and Melissa's Pride collided soon after the start.  Trip To Eden checked off Allen Lottery approaching the first turn.  Allen Lottery checked off Dundee Calypso on the first turn.  Pelli raced wide on the first turn.  Dundee Calypso checked off Trip To Eden approaching the third turn.  Pelli checked off It's A Bird approaching the fifth turn.  Azurite and Melissa's Pride collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Melissa's Pride, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
