A pre-race sample was taken from Jimmy Vella.
Bruiser Senor was slow to begin. Johnny's Return, Neo Ha Ha, Bruiser Senor and Landon collided on the first turn checking Neo Ha Ha and Bruiser Senor. Zelemar Zest and He Shall Johnny collided approaching the home turn checking Zelemar Zest. He Shall Johnny contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Neo Ha Ha was checked off He Shall Johnny approaching the home turn.
Zelemar Zest was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Bruiser Senor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and a spike wound to the right hock, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
