Allen Elway and Gozo Tigers collided on the first turn. Dyna Hayley and Dyna Elias collided approaching the home turn. Allen Elway checked off Gozo Tigers approaching the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dyna Lassie, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Dyna Marge and Dyna Jackie were quick to begin. Scott Cosmic and Cuban Fury were slow to begin. Allen Arlovski, Scott Cosmic and Cuban Fury collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Allen Arlovski and Scott Cosmic collided on the first turn, checking Allen Arlovski. Sally Bale and Dyna Lassie collided approaching the home turn, checking Sally Bale. Sally Bale checked off Hippy Allen approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. McDonnell the handler of Cuban Fury, and issued a severe reprimand regarding his mobile phone not being turned off behind the boxes (GAR 44).

Storm Search was slow to begin. Captain Risky and Bonna Bale collided soon after the start. Mi Blue Day and Watching Magic collided approaching the first turn. Watching Magic checked off the heels of Meehan Sox on the first turn, and pulled up as a result. Meehan Sox and Captain Risky collided on the first turn, checking Captain Risky. Storm Search raced wide in the home straight. 

Watching Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dyna Zaynabi and Lucky Love collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Zaynabi. Boo Star contacted the running rail on the first turn. Boo Star checked off the heels of Dyna Zaynabi on the first turn. Lucky Love and Bound After Gold collided on the first turn, severely checking Lucky Love; Bound After Gold fell as a result. Dyna Zaynabi checked off the heels of Betta Bale approaching the home turn.

Bound After Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A sample was taken from Zipping Hawk - the winner of the event. 

Due to the racing incidents in races 3 and 4 stewards conducted a track inspection of the first turn area as a precautionary measure. The stewards were satisfied that the surface was safe for racing.

Sudoku Flash and Maximum Moo collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Anustar crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Meehan Roy and Sudoku Flash. Sudoku Flash checked off Allen Quake on the first turn. Meehan Roy checked off Allen Quake on the first turn. Sudoku Flash and Elrond Bale collided on the first turn, and again approaching the home turn. Anustar, Allen Quake and Cheese Ya Later collided approaching the home turn, checking Anustar, Cheese Ya Later, Meehan Roy, Sudoku Flash, Elrond Bale and Maximum Moo. Sudoku Flash and Maximum Moo raced wide entering the home straight. Maximum Moo crossed to the rail in the home straight. 

A sample was taken from Down In Mexico - the winner of the event. 

Flash Henry was quick to begin. King Fipa, Bumble Bee Bolto and Flat Twin were slow to begin. Bella Rico, Cardamom and Maximum Mak collided approaching the first turn, checking Cardamom and Maximum Mak, and severely checking King Fipa and Bella Rico. Bumble Bee Bolto, Cardamom and Maximum Mak collided on the first turn, checking King Fipa and Bella Rico, and severely checking Bumble Bee Bolto and Cardamom; Bumble Bee Bolto stumbled as a result. Bella Express checked off Flash Henry on the first turn. Flat Twin checked off Bella Express on the first turn.

Bumble Bee Bolto was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Cruisy's Empress was quick to begin. Enjoy Cruising and Golden Warrior collided soon after the start. Lass Bale and Cruisy's Empress collided on the first turn. Oscorp Bale galloped on the heels of Cruisy's Empress on the first turn, severely checking Gator Bale, Oscorp Bale and Cruisy's Empress. Lass Bale and Drop A Clanger collided approaching the home turn.

Oscorp Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Brooklyn Skye was quick to begin. Barnes Banana was slow to begin. Tuffy Bale, Crackerjack Andy and Rosie's Gift collided soon after the start, checking Tuffy Bale and Rosie's Gift. Crackerjack Andy and Allen Indy collided approaching the first turn. Barnes Banana and Rosie's Gift collided on the first turn. Tuffy Bale and Crackerjack Andy collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Andy. Allen Indy and Brooklyn Skye collided on the first turn. 

Dyna Mimi and Time Taker were slow to begin. Time Taker checked off the heels of Dream Of Success approaching the first turn. Dyna Nana checked off the heels of Cosmic Goldie in the home straight. Our Luck and Crackerjack Cam collided in the home straight. Crackerjack Cam faltered approaching the winning post. 

Crackerjack Cam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back muscle and right groin, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Magic Maldini was slow to begin. Master Riot and Sisco General collided soon after the start, checking Sisco General. Selynya Prince and Envy Heist collided approaching the first turn, and again on the first turn, severely checking Selynya Prince, Schooner Doll, Magic Maldini and Envy Heist. Envy Heist and Selynya Prince collided approaching the home turn, checking Selynya Prince. 

Barton Bale was slow to begin. Thunder Of Sky and Alchemy collided soon after the start. Maximum Dos, Lektra Boss, Allen Varmint and Don's Disaster collided soon after the start. Barton Bale and Thunder Of Sky collided approaching the home turn.
