Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Lala Shim.
Fab Dream was quick to begin. Where's Dex Star went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Gunnewin checked off Fab Dream on the first turn. Cosmic Yap, Pink Shoelaces and Lala Shim collided on the first turn checking Pink Shoelaces and Lala Shim. Pink Shoelaces and Lala Shim collided entering the front straight checking both greyhounds. Where's Dex Star checked off Cosmic Yap entering the back straight.
A sample was taken from Pink Shoelaces which performed below market expectations. Pink Shoelaces was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
