Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Striker Light, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Aston Bolero and Worm Burner were slow to begin. Striker Light and Zambora Brockie collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Aston Bolero checked off Pantera Nera approaching the first turn. Lightning Frank crossed to the rail on the first turn. Striker Light, Aston Bolero and Worm Burner collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Striker Light and Pepper Fire collided on the second turn checking Pepper Fire. Aston Bolero and Worm Burner collided entering the home straight checking Aston Bolero.
Aston Bolero was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Samples were taken from the following placegetters: Lightning Frank (1st), Jesaulenko (2nd) and Zambora Brockie (3rd).
