Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Hardy, the trainer of Mystic Powers regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mystic Powers last raced on 9th November 2016. Mr. Hardy stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
Mr. J. Hardy, trainer of Mystic Powers declared a new weight of 33.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mystic Powers last raced at 32.3kg.
Unlikable and Ready Jet Go were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Jax Mikado, Irish Asteria and La Flair collided at the 300m mark.
