Steward's Report
Mr L. Mitchell, trainer of Prince Passion declared a new weight of 31.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Prince Passion last raced at 33.9kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rosacky Thunder.
Iggy Wiggy was quick to begin. Jen's Magic was slow to begin.
Why Not Lyn and Prince Passion collided soon after the start checking Prince Passion which stumbled. Iggy Wiggy crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Golden Guna and severely checking Shady Apple. Iggy Wiggy crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Golden Gun.
Prince Passion was vetted and re-vetted following event 6. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr L. Mitchell, the representative of the greyhound Prince Passion. Stewards deemed the performance of Prince Passion unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Prince Passion must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Golden Gun was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right fore spike wound, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
