Iggy Wiggy was quick to begin.  Jen's Magic was slow to begin.

Why Not Lyn and Prince Passion collided soon after the start checking Prince Passion which stumbled.  Iggy Wiggy crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Golden Guna and severely checking Shady Apple.  Iggy Wiggy crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Golden Gun.  

Prince Passion was vetted and re-vetted following event 6. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr L. Mitchell, the representative of the greyhound Prince Passion.  Stewards deemed the performance of Prince Passion unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Prince Passion must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Golden Gun was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right fore spike wound, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Chief Tonto, Two Toes Tony, Lucinda, and Elite Eliana were slow to begin.

Two Toes Tony and Chief Tonto collided approaching the first turn.  Two Toes Tony, Pepper Gun, Lucinda, Elite Eliana and My Girl Lois collided on the first turn checking Elite Eliana, Pepper Gun, My Girl Lois and severely checking Lucinda which stumbled as a result and lost ground.  Chief Tonto galloped on My Girl Lois approaching the home turn checking My Girl Lois, Pepper Gun and Chief Tonto.

My Girl Lois was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lucinda was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Orataya was slow to begin.

Dundee Kestrel and Zulu Zoe collided soon after the start checking Dundee Kestrel.  Popowski and Zulu Zoe collided on the first turn checking Zulu Zoe which fell severely checking Dundee Kestrel and King Of Diamond.  Orataya and Popowski collided on the first turn.  Orataya crossed to the outside on the third turn.  Orataya and King Of Diamonds collided entering the home straight.

Zulu Zoe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right metacarpal and left hind foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Your New Disease and Wilbur collided soon after the start.  Wilbur and Izumi collided approaching the first turn checking Wilbur.  Spritely Pizazz and Shanlyn Pippin collided entering the home straight checking Shanlyn Pippin.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Shanlyn Pippin a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Arvo's McQueen was a late scratching at 6.24pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to laceration to the right side of nose. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms D. Beasley, representative of Archaic Potion declared a new weight of 28.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Archaic Potion last raced at 27.1kgs.
