Zac Bale checked off Rod's Super on the first turn checking Heleffi Lea, causing Zac Bale and Heleffi Lea to race wide as a result. Mepunga Dee Jay and Dyna Yenite collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Dee Jay and Dyna Yenite collided approaching the winning post.
Zac Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
