Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Henry's Fault, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
It's The Lovely was quick to begin. Henry's Fault, Texas Blaze and Sugar McGundy were slow to begin. Better Mac and Ringlock Queen collided soon after the start. Texas Blaze and Ringlock Queen collided approaching the first turn checking Texas Blaze. Toss, Better Mac and Ringlock Queen collided approaching the first turn checking Better Mac and Ringlock Queen. Henry's Fault and Texas Blaze collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Better Mac galloped on the heels of Toss on the first turn checking Ringlock Queen and severely checking Toss. Rockin' Riri and Sugar McGundy collided on the home turn checking Rockin' Riri.
Toss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its left hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
