Turbo Chief and Dontron collided soon after the start. Dusty Roy, Dontron and Rusty Boy collided on the first turn. Quick Step galloped on the heels of Ram Raider on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Absolute Roarer and Dusty Roy collided approaching the winning post.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Suplex City and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5:32pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms L. Courts was fined the sum of $100.

Tear Away Lucy and Tally Ho Jack collided soon after the start. Dodge Ball checked off Trixie Diamond on the first turn. Djarragun and Thanks Cheryl collided on the first turn, checking Djarragun. Djarragun and Dodge Ball collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight, checking Djarragun. Tear Away Lucy raced wide in the home straight.

Djarragun was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ma Ma Marty and Division Four was slow to begin. Laytown and Rusty Patches collided on the first turn, checking Laytown. Orchard Road veered out and marred the running of Dom Daisy on the home turn, causing both greyhounds to race wide. Dom Daisy and Orhcard Road collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Ma Ma Marty raced wide entering the home straight. Laytown and Rusty Patches raced wide in the home straight.

Orchard Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the back left leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Gore, the trainer of the greyhound Orchard Road regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Orchard Road with marring. Mr. Gore pleaded guilty to the charge, Orchard Road was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Quotation Mark was a late scratching at 2:43pm due to a laceration (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stocktake and Running Home were slow to begin. Stocktake and Running Home collided approaching the first turn checking Stocktake. Running Home checked of Nulla Girl on the first turn. Miss Jay Dodgers and Lektra Stolly collided on the approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Lektra Stolly checked off Miss Jay Dodgers on the first turn and collided with Hope Solo. Stocktake and Hope Solo collided approaching the home turn. 

Miss Jay Dodgers was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Baritone was a late scratching at 2:10pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Oh Watta Texan, Lethal Gun and Moonlit Dance were slow to begin. Oh Watta Texan, Kwazii and Moonlit Dance collided approaching the first turn. Oh Watta Texan checked off Lethal Gun entering the home straight. Moonlit Dance failed to pursue the lure in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Britton , the representative of the greyhound Moonlit Dance regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Moonlit Dance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Moonlit Dance with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Britton pleaded guilty to the charge, Moonlit Dance was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Destini Lass was a late scratching at 5:42pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Borradale, the trainer of Mum's Soul regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Mum's Soul last raced on 7 September 2015. Mr. Borradale stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after a seasonal condition.

Mum's Soul and Tally Ho Gal were quick to begin. Backflip Kitty checked off Mum's Soul soon after the start and again on the first turn. Patchie Bear and Tally Ho Gal collided on the first turn. Silky Sock and Dashi collided on the first turn. Dashi checked off Tally Ho Gal on the first turn and collided with Eumeralla Magic. Silky Sock and Tally Ho Gal collided on the home turn. Eumeralla Magic and Tally Ho Gal collided in the home straight.

Jarleth and Tally Ho Dejay were slow to begin. Tally Ho Dejay checked off Jarleth approaching the first turn. Jarleth and Unlocked collided on the first turn. Lonnie Lad and Brazen Bomber collided on the first turn. Dynamite Richo and Brazen Bomber raced wide entering the home straight. Jarleth checked off Lonnie Lad collided approaching the winning post.

Mausie, Bernmar Caviar and I'll Be Black were slow to begin. Bernmar Caviar and Mausie collided approaching the first turn checking Mausie. Run Rusty Run and Tally Ho Kate collided approaching the home turn, checking Tally Ho Kate. Bernmar Caviar and Tally Ho Kate collided on the home turn.

I'll Be Black was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mumbles Murray was a late scratching at 6:00pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
