Dyna Fame, Take The Crown and Annie Weaver were slow to begin. Dyna Fame, West On Xandi and Fizzy Bale collided soon after the start checking Dyna Fame and West On Xandi. Alpha Hermes, Allen Marky, Fizzy Bale and Take The Crown collided approaching the first turn, checking Alpha Hermes, Allen Marky, Fizzy Bale, Take The Crown, Ponting's Nail and West On Xandi. West On Xandi checked off Allen Marky approaching the second turn checking Annie Weaver. Annie Weaver raced wide in the home straight.
Alpha Hermes was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
