Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Heinrich, the kennel representative of Kachina Allen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kachina Allen last raced on 28th September, 2016. Ms Heinrich stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
A pre race sample was taken from Blue Not Black.
Podium Babe was quick to begin. It Gets Better and Blue Not Black collided approaching the first turn, checking It Gets Better. Blue Not Black checked off Good Odds Jet on the first turn, checking Kachina Allen. It Gets Better faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Kenny's Millions faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result.
It Gets Better was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Destini Ricardo trialled over the 450m from box 7, weight 33.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 26.11, the greyhound won by a margin of 10 1/2 lengths. Destini Ricardo was cleared to race in blinkers.
