This meeting was deemed to be heat affected. At the close of kennelling the outside temperature 32.3 degrees. Kennel temperature was 23.7 degrees.

Mr. No Worries was a late scratching at 6.39p.m. on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness (elevated temperature). A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Good Boy Oscar was slow to begin. Crooked Vulture crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Brindi Chopper and Dynamite Jackson. Dynamite Jackson and Brindi Chopper collided on the first turn, checking Brindi Chopper. Mi Blue Day and Crooked Vulture collided on the first turn. Good Boy Oscar, Mi Blue Day and Crooked Vulture collided approaching the home turn, checking Mi Blue Day. Crooked Vulture and Good Boy Oscar collided entering the home straight, checking Good Boy Oscar. Brindi Chopper checked off Dynamite Jackson in the home straight.
