Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Miss Morrisset.
Blackpool Shaz checked off Super Smarty soon after the start. Kiwi Collision, Scarce, Miss Morrisset and Erelda Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Scarce and Miss Morrisset. Scarce checked off Miss Morrisset approaching the home turn. Scarce raced wide in the home straight.
The photo finish failed to capture an imagine for this event. The judge used the backup system to determine the placings of the race.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to P Hofman, the trainer of No Quarter Given regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. No Quarter Given last raced on 31 July 2016. P Hofman stated that the greyhound had had a change of kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, No Quarter Given trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 35.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.40, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8 lengths. No Quarter Given was cleared.
