Steward's Report
Pre race samples were taken from Schmoo and Maximum Bella.
Wanda Bale and Patch Lane were slow to begin. Patch Lane checked off Schmoo soon after the start. Mick Mow, Maximum Bella, Escalate and Just Smile collided approaching the first turn, checking Maximum Bella and Escalate. Mick Mow checked off Just Smile on the first turn and collided with Wand Bale. Mick Mow and Wanda Bale collided approaching the home turn. Escalate faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off. Patch Lane raced wide in the home straight.
Escalate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, and was humanely euthanased.
