Woorndoo Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Collyer, the trainer of Obama Flyer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Obama Flyer last raced on 3rd October, 2016.  Ms. Collyer stated the greyhound had not been racing due to general soreness.
