Cosmic Rise, Rubba Wilson and Superior Jethro collided soon after the start checking Rubba Wilson. Cosmic Rise checked off Jack Snapper approaching the first turn. Jack Snapper checked off Outa Manila on the first turn. Dani Bale crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Campari Lad, Jack Snapper, Cosmic Rise and Superior Jethro
Jack Snapper was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Campari Lad, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
