Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Coco Marlow.
Ripper, Daintree King and Coco Marlow were slow to begin. Black Bindi crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Sweet Barbados. Dr. Luvdisc, Honey Fantasy and Black Bindi collided on the first turn, checking Honey Fantasy. Dr. Luvdisc and Black Bindi collided entering the home straight. Daintree King, Honey Fantasy and Coco Marlow collided on the second turn, checking Honey Fantasy and severely checking Daintree King. Ripper and Daintree King collided on the second turn, checking Ripper which subsequently tailed off. Sweet Barbados and Coco Marlow collided on the home turn.
Ripper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
