Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Unbackable upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling. A pre-race sample was subsequently taken.
Mars Rising, Aztec Flash, Blazing Thunder and Unbackable were slow to begin. Aztec Flash faltered and brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Slick Maggie, Blazing Thunder and Unbackable collided on the first turn.
Aztec Flash was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
