Steward's Report
Mr. W. McMahon the trainer of the greyhound Precious Quality notified Stewards during kenneling that the greyhound had sustained an injury to the left front foot. Precious Quality was a late scratching at 5:32pm, due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Your Shout Punk and Aston Bolero were quick to begin. Mumma Josie and Shima Song were slow to begin. Hyundai Hawk and Mumma Josie collided approaching the first turn, checking Hyundai Hawk, which contacted the running rail and stumbled as a result. Super Sook raced wide entering the home straight.
Hyundai Hawk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
